Meat pie

We can’t go on a trip to because of the Corona Disease so I will introduce the world of local dishes to enjoy the country atmosphere.

Today, I will introduce the meat pie from Australia. This was originally eaten by the British but the meat pie is now loved by Australians because Australia was a British colony, so it was spread it by the pioneers. By the way, the number of per capita consumption average for one year is 12 pieces. In 2003, the governor of New South Wales said “The meat pie is the soul food of Australia” In this way, it became Australia is national dish.

~How to make a meat pie~

400g ground meat
1/2 carrot  
1 Onion  
4 pieces Mushroom
4 sheets Pie sheet
1 Consommé seasoning
1 tablespoon Flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Water
1 piece Yolk
Butter
Worcestershire sauce, Ketchup, Pepper, Nutmeg as much as you like 



1 Chop up the vegetables and mushrooms. 
2 Fry chopped onions and carrots and mushrooms until they are golden brown, add salt and pepper.
3 Add water 1 cup and Consommé seasoning, nutmeg and ketchup and let it cook for about 20-30 minutes.






4 Spread the butter and pie on the baking pan.
5 Let the meat cool and put it in a baking pan and cover the pie sheets.
6 Press the end of the pie with a fork and spread yolk.


7 Preheat oven to 180 degrees and bake for 40 minutes. To prevent burning you have to cover it with a piece of aluminum foil,
